Pictures from the recital

Dear families,

We had so much fun at the Harmony Road recital!

If you want to see a few samples from the recital, you can check out the Youtube video clips below. If you've video taped the recital, we'd love a copy! We'd like to share your child's musical achievements with the rest of the New Mozart family.

It's been an incredible year. Our dedicated group of children and parents did some amazing work this year! We were so impressed with the music that our Harmony Road II students composed that we're publishing a book of our children's very own songs!

Harmony Road II student's compostion book will be out by the end of the summer so come and check it out! A limited number of copies will be available for sale.

Have a wonderful summer and see you back in the fall!

P.S. We're happy to report that we raised $780 for the Music in the Schools foundation. We couldn't have done it without the help of our parent volunteers. We're truly touched by your generosity. THANK YOU! In June, we were able to raise $2550 for MIS from six different New Mozart music recitals. MIS brings classroom music to the children of East Menlo Park, and East Palo Alto. If you want to find out more, you can go to their website here.

  VIDEO CLIPS FROM THE RECITAL

See what our children can play after a few months in Harmony Road.

Ryan (5) is a Harmony Road I student. Ryan enjoys deciphering lots of music that he likes and plays them by ear. Here he is playing "Fur Elise" & "Goodnight Irene" which Ms. Christine transcribed for him.

Amanda (4) & Christopher (4) are Harmony Road I students. Amanda is playing "Sunshine Day" from Harmony Road book I & "La, Mi, Mi" an Etude written for the Harmony Road I students by teacher Christine. Christopher is playing "Moo Town Singers" & "Hickory Dickory Dock"

Julian (6) is a Harmony Road II student. In this video, he's playing his own composition, harmonized and accompanied by Christine

At the end of the recital, we had so much fun jamming with everyone. We sang 3 songs, and this one is called "Crawdad Song" Christine on the piano, and Vincent on electric guitar.
