Children's Music Classes in
Palo Alto

(All of our Harmony Road music classes are held at our N. California campus in Palo Alto, close driving distance from Menlo Park, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Mountain View, Redwood City & Sunnyvale)

Come & experience New Mozart's innovative, piano based music classes for children as young as two years of age.

Children love our classes & parents rave about them!

WHY?

Because we teach young children how to play the piano & create music the way they learned how to talk.

---------------------------------

New Mozart Composers:

In our Harmony Road, young students become composers

Our students experience & do much more than composing

Music in Me(3-4), students learn: keyboard georgraphy, solfege singing, 3-4 piano pieces(4-8 measures) by ear, find high & low notes, draw line & space notes, learn even more note values, solfege on the piano and much more.
These specific formal instructions infused seamlessly between singing and rhythm instrument play(informal instructions) ensure that our children learn pianistic and other important musical skills while having a lot of fun.
By the end of the 1st semester of Harmony Road (K-2nd), our students play approximately 8-10 piano pieces (3 of them with both hands), Read notes on the Bass & Treble clef, learn simple harmonization techiniques to start writing & playing their own songs on the piano and sing lots of additional songs.

---------------------------------

New Mozart Pianists:

After about 8-12 weeks of classes, our Harmony Road I students can play this and many other songs.

TESTIMONIALS
"I am a professional, classically trained singer who has performed regularly at the New York Metropolitan Opera for the past 10 years...
I have spent a lot of time in music classes for my young daughters, and The New Mozart School of Music is absolutely unique in its approach to teaching music to young children...unlike other classes, every song and game is building a solid foundation, teaching the language of music that can be applied to any form of music that a child will undertake in the years to come...I am thrilled and happy that my children have access to these classes at such a young age.
We are so fortunate to have this amazing school in our community."
-Malin Fritz Walrod (professional opera singer & Julianna & Erika's Mommy)-
