Dress rehearsals will be held on the morning of the concert at Solti Hall. Every student will get exactly 6 minutes. Please come dressed in your concert attire.
Students performing with our accompanist will rehearse on July 1. You should have received a calendar invitation with your assigned time. Please save it to your calendar & don't miss this rehearsal. This will be your only rehearsal with the accompanist.
Practice room info
Because we couldn't find commercial practice rooms to recommend in Budapest, we have rented two rehearsal halls at the Liszt Academy on June 30, July 1 & 2.
Book a large room here. Rate: $40 per hour
Book a medium room. Rate: $25 per hour
To access the practice rooms, enter Liszt Academy from Király Street NOT the main entrance. #2 on the picture is the entrance you should use.
The security staff has a list of our performers' names. When you arrive, give your full name at the reception. Tell them you are with Christine Shin and New Mozart School of Music.
Practice rooms are on the 3rd floor. Use the elevator or stairs. We are using rooms XXIII (large room) and XXIV (medium room) on 6/30 & 7/1. On our concert day, we are using XXIII (large room) and X (medium room).

Concert Date/Time
July 2, 7 pm
Performers are expected at the hall 1 hour prior to the performance. The doors will open for the audience 30 minutes before the performance.
IMPORTANT - REHEARSAL Schedule
Rehearsals will be held from 10 am - 1 pm on July 2 at the Solti Hall, the day of the performance. Each performer will be allotted 6 minutes of time. Please check your schedule here.
Performers Backstage
All performers will be backstage.
Performers performing in the 1st half will remain backstage for the first half of the program and will join the audience after the intermission.
Performers performing in the 2nd half will be in the audience for the first half and then backstage during the second half.
Tickets
We will distribute the 4 comp tickets at the rehearsal on July 2. Comp tickets are NOT available at the box office. You can purchase additional tickets here.
Everyone, including performers, will need a ticket. Each performer must retain his/her ticket for the entire recital and be ready to show it to staff members upon request.
Photography
Your recital fee includes a set of photos taken by a professional photographer approximately 1 week after the performance. Photography and video/audio recording is not permitted for audiences at Solti Hall.
Program
Printed programs will be available on the day of the concert.
DRESS CODE for Performers
Formal attire is required.
Concert Duration
Concert will last approximately 2.5 hours with a 15 minute intermission.
