Dear New Mozart Families & Friends:

It has been challenging several weeks for all of us. The severity of the COVID-19 has put our community in uncharted territory.

New Mozart was born with the commitment to bring people together through music. Although this extraordinary time will not allow us to connect musically in person, we know we can work through this challenging time together as a community. We will do everything we can to ensure that our students can continue to receive excellent musical education safely while our teachers and staff can count on us to continue their work.

In addition to serving our current families with online instruction, we are continuing to accept new students.

Thank you for choosing music, education and community in this exceptional time. Your support and understanding mean so much to all of us here at New Mozart.

With Gratitude,

Christine Shin
Director
New Mozart School of Music

NEW MOZART COVID-19 FAQs

Are lessons & classes being held?

As of Monday, March 16, all private lessons are online.

Students will receive an email with login info and other details.

We are working through our Monday teachers to get them set up, train, and then Monday students will receive log info. We will then move on to the next day. It may take some time before we get through all days.

We were not ready to install online learning on a massive scale in so little time but we will do our best. Thank you for your patience as we work around the clock to transition to online lessons.

In person lesson is still the most effective form of learning and we will resume onsite lessons once the current crisis is in control.

Harmony Road classes are cancelled this week (3/16-3/21) and will resume online next week.

Harmony Road students will receive a login info and details no later than 3/22.

Choir is cancelled this week (3/16) and will resume online next week.

we will continue to monitor the situation and inform families accordingly.

We are continuing to accept new students who want to continue learning via the online format.

Can I do online lessons?

All lessons have been moved online.

Can I pause lessons?

Pausing lessons is not an available option at this time.

Can I withdraw from lessons and then re-enroll?

We feel that continuing with music lessons especially in exceptional times like this is important. Online lesson is available so choosing that option to continue making music is a choice we recommend. If you still wish to withdraw, that is an option.  You can find Private Lesson policy and Harmony Road policy here.  Withdrawal policy exception is unavailable at this time.
